More about me:

  • My therapy style is warm, authentic, and always without judgment. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and truly seen, especially in a therapeutic setting.

My approach has been described as an exploratory soft sounding board, compassionate, inquisitive, and affirming. I can provide more or less structure and guidance in sessions depending on where you are in your therapeutic journey and what your current needs are.

I primarily use Schema Therapy, but also incorporate aspects of CBT and DBT in my work with clients. Here is a little more info about these approaches:

    • Schema Therapy (ST)

ST is an integrative approach combining aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, experiential therapy, and parts work. By understanding unmet needs from our past, we can better understand what thought and behavior patterns we've developed to survive things like abandonment, social isolation, and betrayal, and finally learn to heal them!

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on looking at the interpretations and perspectives we have about our experiences and exploring if there are more helpful ways to interpret and frame how we view and respond to things that we haven’t thought about before.

    • Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is largely about building new skills to help with things like overwhelming emotions, feelings of distress, and navigating relationships.

  • I specialize in helping people heal from a variety of relational wounds and unmet needs. These can include experiences such as neglect, narcissistic abuse, gifted child syndrome, feelings of defectiveness, social isolation, failure and a variety of other challenges that often trace back to early life experiences. Using insight gained from the past, your own inherent wisdom, and new tools developed together in the present, we can help you build a stronger and healthier version of the most important relationship in your life: the one you have with yourself!

    • Anxiety

    • Depression

    • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

    • Complex PTSD

    • Religious trauma

  • I primarily work with women and LGBTQIA+ individuals 18 years of age or above.

I am HAES/fat liberationist, poly-friendly and knowledgeable, sex positive, and kink-aware. I am committed to social justice-oriented, intersectional, and anti-racist perspectives.

  • My full self-pay rate is $120. I offer a sliding scale starting at $50 for individuals experiencing financial hardship. Please be aware that these spots are limited and Transgender and BIPOC individuals will be prioritized.

You’re welcome to ask any questions you have about me and my therapy style, and I’ll ask a few questions about what you are looking for and how I might be able to help. After the consultation, you’re welcome to take some time to think about whether you would like to move forward with scheduling an initial session! If you decide to move forward, we’ll find a date and time that works well for us both, and I’ll send some initial paperwork and answer any additional questions you may have!
